Rocking it out in the rain

Even when we offered that groups could come back early due to the rain, their response was:
"We're all good. Makes for better memories."

We also started a new project at The Lighthouse Center for Natural Resource Education which provides education and experiential learning about the preservation and resources of the Barnegat Bay, its history and culture.

Our new community partner was thrilled by the work accomplished by the volunteers.
"The group presented me with an autographed piece of debris that they found on their way cleaning up from the bay, a child's shovel. It is now hanging in a place of honor in my office."
